“I spy Pinball Pete’s in its new digs on Liberty,” writes Ginny Weingate, citing the clue. It’s the “marquee at [their] new location at 500 E. Liberty,” writes Ben Carter.
“Love the neon sign!” says Sue Force. “Their new sign is gorgeous,” agrees Cathy Y. Chow. “It was created by my friend Mark Chalou aka Mr. Neon,” adds Kitty Kahn.

“The east end of Liberty is now well on its way to being our very own ‘Glitter Gulch,’” quips Bryan Magnuson. With the Michigan Theater and the State Theatre down the street, says David Karl, it’s “starting to look like a mini Las Vegas.”
“I was waiting for this one!” says Shannon Kohlitz. A sign this large and a move this big did not go unnoticed. “Pinball Pete’s had to leave its previous location of twenty-nine years in the basement of the Galleria Mall on South University,” writes Bob Maddox. Dave Bicknell notes that it was leveled “to make way for yet another student-housing high-rise,”adding that “I still think of the E. Liberty space as the former Harry’s Army Surplus.” Joe Cialdella also remembers Harry’s from his “college days.”
“I love Pinball Pete’s!” says Peter Yao. “When our kids visit from out of town,” Maddox adds, “Pinball Pete’s is always on their list.” “It’s quite an impressive arcade,” agrees Steve Luongo. “Check it out!”
