Named for U-M botany professor George Burns, this 125-year-old, 15-acre neighborhood park is bordered by shady trees which follow the course of an old horse racetrack. It boasts a wide variety of amenities and athletic fields, including picnic tables, restrooms, a playground, baseball field, basketball court, football and soccer fields, tennis and pickleball courts, a pétanque court, two rain gardens, and sledding in the winter.
