Cinnaholic, a cinnamon roll franchise, was aiming for a January opening on E. Liberty next to Running Fit. The menu offers more than twenty frosting flavors and “a variety of fresh and decadent toppings,” according to its website.

Guests can choose from premade combinations or assemble their own rolls from a variety of flavors. The menu also features edible cookie dough by the scoop or eight-ounce container. While its products have plenty of calories, all are advertised as vegan, dairy- and lactose-free, egg-free, and cholesterol-free.

Across the street, Bakehouse 46, a joint venture between the Cupcake Station and Blake Farms, opened late last year in the former Cupcake Station. Blake Farms, which began in Armada in 1946, kept the cupcakes but expanded the lineup to include breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as donuts, cakes, and other desserts.
