The Third Place Music Fest
June 3–6 (different locations). Four-day festival focused on casual access to music with performances of jazz, experimental, folk, and classical music by U-M students, local musicians, and performers from across the Midwest at venues throughout town. Today: U-M grad and minimalist electro jazz musician Leith (Campbell) and avant-garde jazz ensemble Heat On. 7 p.m., Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, 220 E. Ann. Tickets $3–$10 cash or charge sliding scale at the door; festival pass, $20–$70 sliding scale at thirdplacemusic.org or at the door.
