Don’t Just Stand There

Over the past year, you might have noticed hand-built wooden benches popping up at bus stops around town. These unsanctioned benches are the work of Michigan Urbanism, a U-M student club focused on solving civic problems through low-cost, planning-by-doing measures, an approach known as tactical urbanism.
