“Creature Encounters & Adult Open Hours”: The Creature Conservancy

The Dean Solden Trio, featuring bassist Marion Hayden and drummer Sean Dobbins, will be performing a show entitled, "The Dean Solden Trio plays the jazz piano greats." As the title suggests, Solden will be performing songs from many of the jazz piano greats, including Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, McCoy Tyner, Dave Brubeck, Horace Silver, Duke Ellington, and more. Solden is an Ann Arbor pianist, composer and educator, and has played throughout the country.
Bassist Marion Hayden has been an icon in the Detroit Metro Area jazz scene for decades and has played with such notables as luminaries as Bobby McFerrin, Nancy Wilson, Geri Allen, Regina Carter, James Carter, Lionel Hampton, Frank Morgan, Jon Hendricks, Hank Jones, Bobby Hutcherson, Sheila Jordan, and Mulgrew Miller. Dobbins is regarded as one of the finest drummers in the Detroit Metro area and has played with everyone! This will be a night to remember!
