We received 160 entries correctly identifying the Fake Ad for Bespoke K9 Tayloring on page 61 of the June issue.

“I was really hoping it was real, as our dog is a Cairn Terrier–Pomeranian mix; his front is all Toto, and his back is all Pompom,” writes Tiffanny Dellheim. “I’m always tailoring (nice misspelling in the fake ad) his little sweaters in the fall. If I buy a small, it’s too small for his front, but if I buy a medium, it’s hanging off his back.”

“We may not have a dog deserving of Bespoke-wear, but our elderly kitty, Madam Pinky LeMieux certainly qualifies. Thirteen years ago, she went from starving, dirty, skinny, and unhoused to a mansion with staff. She’s living the dream!” writes C. Petelka.

“Nothing wrong with an off-the-rack dog,” writes Susan Whitlock, who adds that she’s the “Proud Person of a Love Train Puppy.”

And Joe Cialdella writes, “This month’s fake ad appears to be for Bespoke K9 Tayloring, though I’m a little surprised something like this doesn’t exist yet! ;)”

The truth is, it does exist, at more businesses than we would have thought. We had to be careful in choosing the name not to impinge on the names of several other businesses!

Rachel Newman was chosen as our winner. She’s taking her gift card to Zingerman’s.
