Tucked within the upscale Arbor Hills shopping center, the Shade Store opened its third Michigan showroom in September.
Customers can work with a design consultant by appointment or drop in to create custom window treatments—draperies, blinds, and/or shades—professionally fitted and installed.
In addition to its locations in Birmingham and Troy, the private company founded in 2006 has some 130 other U.S. showrooms, about half of which opened in the past four years.
