Berlin-based Yemeni Jewish music trio led by Eyal El Wahab, a singer & multi-instrumentalist who builds many of the group’s instruments from salvaged materials. The sound is a unique psychedelic & improvisational reimagining of traditional Yemenite folk and pop that weaves together Middle Eastern scales, jazz, funk, and garage rock. “The music they make is truly unlike that of any other group,” writes PopMatters in a review of the band’s 2024 album Mute.
