July 21: “New York, New York” (Martin Scorsese, 1977). Musical romance starring Liza Minnelli and Robert De Niro as lovers and musicians who meet in New York City in 1945 on V-J Day. The title song, written by John Kander and Fred Ebb for the film, became a worldwide hit. 7 p.m.
