“Girls Like Us”: 2026 Ann Arbor Jewish Film Festival
May 3–13. Screenings of films from around the world that address the Jewish experience. Various times, State Theatre except as noted. Each screening $12 in advance at jccannarbor.org/film-festival and at the door.
May 11: “Girls Like Us” (Lee Gilat, 2025). Israeli drama about a 17-year-old girl, enrolled at an alternative high school for at-risk youth, who develops an intense relationship with her counselor. Hebrew, subtitles. 6:30 p.m.
