“Astro Image Processing”: U-M Detroit Observatory
All invited to a workshop exploring how how modern-day cameras, a 170-year old telescope, and computers work together to create images of our celestial neighbors. The evening includes viewing images of asteroids and comets taken through the Observatory’s historic Fitz telescope followed by night sky telescope observing (weather permitting). 7–9 p.m., 1398 E.
