Annual Huron River Day: Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation
This popular festival, at a new Riverside Park location this year, features lots of family-oriented nature activities. The festival is preceded by interactive sessions like bug hunts and more (8 a.m.–noon). The festival itself (noon–4 p.m.) includes children’s art and science activities, guided nature walks, and more. Live entertainment includes Hullabaloo (noon), a veteran local 9-piece collective whose energetic music draws on ska, jazz, funk, punk, and Latin influences; a Belly Dance (noon) performance by a group TBA; Margo Solomon (2 p.m.), a teen band from Neutral Zone; and other entertainment TBA (3 p.m.). Food trucks. Noon–4 p.m., Riverside Park, 1050 Wall (parking at Fuller Park, 1519 Fuller, U-M parking structures M99 & M93, and U-M parking lots M50 & M40). Free admission.
