Free service of the City of Ann Arbor that provides local information and news programming, and makes video and media production and distribution available to city residents and local area nonprofit organizations. CTN operates four channels on the Comcast Cable system. Channel 16 provides live and recorded coverage of 200+ Ann Arbor government meetings in addition showcases CTN produced series that cover events, arts, sports, and news features. Channel 17, provides the training and equipment, and residents and local area nonprofits produce programs that share opinions, ideas, information, and entertainment, all without censorship. Channel 18 offers Ann Arbor Board of Education meetings and educational programs from the Ann Arbor Public Schools, Ann Arbor District Library, and other educational institutions from around the country. Channel 19 offers 24/7 Community Electronic Bulletin Board – This is a free of charge, convenient and simple way to promote nonprofit events, announcements, messages can be sent to ctn@a2gov.org
