Sept. 20: “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” (Peter Jackson, 2001). Extended version of the first in the epic adventure movie trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic 3-volume fantasy series concerning a humble hobbit trying to save the world of Middle-earth. The other 2 films screen Sept. 27 & Oct. 4. 1:30 p.m.
