Swinging jazz standards and driving R&B by this acclaimed ensemble led by Lucky, better known in Ann Arbor as Steve Wethy, the frontman and pianist for the Blue Front Persuaders, a neo-jump blues quintet that was one of the great local bands of the early 80s. Wethy moved to San Francisco many years ago, but his local shows continue to draw big crowds.
