GearLords is a monthly-bimonthly showcase of hardware-based electronic music artists – things like synths and drummachines, as opposed to turntables and laptops. Genres range from industrial to techno to house, electro and/or ambient. Good place to learn about this equipment/style of making electronic music but also a good place to learn about the underground electronic music scene of Washtenaw County – of which GearLords is one small part. Each show has a handful of live sets from local and regional musicians.
