Crowell first gained attention in the 70s as a guitarist and principal songwriter in Emmylou Harris’s band, and in the 80s he wrote hits for several country-pop performers, including Crystal Gayle and the Oak Ridge Boys, before striking out as a headliner in his own right. “Before there was alternative country, before outlaw country, before Americana, there was Rodney Crowell,” writes Americana Highways. His current show features songs from throughout his career, mixed with tunes from his 2025 release, Airline Highway. $51.
