Our next CLUSTER Community Build focuses on the banned words list.
In July and throughout the fall, CLUSTER Museum offers free drop-in sessions that teach the basic stitches for hand embroidering text. Participants will learn basic stitches and then embroider words from the banned word list. No experience necessary.
Materials will be provided: Floss, needles, hoops, fabric. Patterns will also be provided as needed. Participants are welcome to bring embroidery supplies from their stashes at home to share with the group.
Select a word from the list, decide your font and embroider away! This Community Build project will be exhibited for the November mid-term elections.
