Geoffrey Keezer & Gillian Margot: Kerrytown Concert House
Husband-and-wife duo of veteran jazz pianist Keezer and acclaimed honey-toned vocalist Margot perform. Keezer, a gifted arranger and improviser, got his start at age 18 as the last pianist to join Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers. “Geoffrey sometimes does stuff on stage—like when he plays on electric keyboard and acoustic piano simultaneously—that I think, ‘I didn’t know that was humanly possible,’” legendary saxophonist David Sanborn told a Downbeat reviewer in 2022.
