“Yaniv”: 2026 Ann Arbor Jewish Film Festival
May 3–13. Screenings of films from around the world that address the Jewish experience. Various times, State Theatre except as noted. Each screening $12 in advance at jccannarbor.org/film-festival and at the door.
May 13: “Yaniv” (Amnon Carmi, 2025). Comedy-thriller about a high school teacher in the Bronx who decides to fund the school’s musical by cheating at an underground card game run by Hasidic Jews. 7 p.m.
