“Into the Woods”: Huron Players

Feb. 5–8. Huron High School students perform Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s acclaimed 1986 musical, a funny, postmodern mash-up of Brothers Grimm fairy tales. The tale, about the dangers of getting what you wish for, features a scheming witch, Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Jack (of beanstalk fame), and Jack’s trusty cow, Milky White. 7 p.m. (Thurs.–Sat.) & 2 p.m. (Sun.), Huron High School, Meyers Auditorium, 2727 Fuller.
