El Laberinto del Coco: U-M Center for World Performance Studies
Performance by this 14-member Puerto Rican fusion ensemble led by percussionist and composer Héctor “Coco” Bárez. Its sound brings together the African rhythms, dance, and call-and-response of traditional Puerto Rican bomba with jazz, funk, Afro-Caribbean, and contemporary world music. 7 p.m., Michigan League Ballroom.
