A2 Community Bookfest (formerly Kerrytown BookFest): Ann Arbor District Library
This bustling, lively festival—the largest 1-day book festival in Michigan—celebrates books and bookmaking with a variety of demos, talks, signings, displays, and sale tables by local bookstores, booksellers, and publishers. Schedule: Bestselling NYC writer K-Ming Chang (10:30 a.m.), author of the award-winning 2022 novel Bestiary, discusses her work. A preschool storytime (11:30 a.m.) for kids ages 2–5. A book release reception (1 p.m.) for writing by local writers published by the AADL Fifth Avenue Press. A chance to make customized refrigerator magnets (2 p.m.) with prints of iconic book covers.
