Located on 27 acres just west of downtown, the natural features of this large, open park include wetlands, a pond, and 2 “Champion Trees,” a bur oak and a red oak, which are the largest of their species in the city. Manmade features include a historic bandshell (currently closed), athletic fields, a basketball court, a baseball/softball field, tennis courts, picnic tables, a playground, and community gardens maintained by Project Grow.
