After twenty years, Question Corner is retiring. Since the segment debuted in July 2005, author Tim Athan answered hundreds of questions from readers across Ann Arbor. Although there are a handful that remained unanswered, there’s one that Tim considers his white whale:
“I did everything I could to uncover the etymology of the street name ‘Skynob.’ Ann Arbor may be the only city in the world with a street named Skynob—and indeed, we have two!
“After I’d tried my usual sources I put inquiries into the mailboxes of the residents of Skynob Drive and Skynob Court. All that turned up was a response ‘Please let me know what you find—I’ve been curious!’”
Readers, if you have an answer to slake Tim’s curiosity, we want to hear it. And you can still feel free to send any of your questions to [email protected].
