J. Nick Smith directs this popular 80-piece band in a spooky program of spine-chilling music, some from Halloween-inspired movies, with works that range from David Maslanka’s Rollo Takes a Walk to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” The evening includes a fiery trumpet solo by Anderson Romero and a bevy of kazoos. The audience is invited to join the band by dressing in costume. Light refreshments follow. 7:30 p.m., WCC Morris Lawrence Bldg., Towsley Auditorium, 4800 E. Huron River Dr. Free. wccband.org.
