Emergency 911

For emergencies in Ann Arbor and all of Washtenaw County, dial 911. This emergency number connects callers with the nearest police communications center or Washtenaw Metro Dispatch. These centers are linked directly to Huron Valley Ambulance and to local fire departments. After dialing 911, give the dispatcher the location and nature of the emergency, and your name and phone number. Do not hang up until after the dispatcher does.
