Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, The Original
AASAF, the Original is a nonprofit arts organization that provides equitable access to arts education through our community initiatives. Dedicated for over six decades to presenting an award-winning top tier annual art fair showcasing original works of art by local, national and international artists.

Ann Arbor Art Fair
Experience the 2026 Ann Arbor Art Fair, the nation’s largest juried art event, returning to downtown Ann Arbor from July 16–18, 2026 (July 16-17 10am-9pm, July 18 10am-8pm). This beloved Midwest tradition transforms 30 city blocks into a vibrant showcase of creativity, featuring nearly 1,000 juried artists, interactive art-making spaces, and live demonstrations.
Beyond the exceptional art, visitors can enjoy:
Live Entertainment: Three dedicated music stages will feature local and regional talent throughout the fair.
Culinary Delights: A variety of dining options, from local restaurant pop-ups to the Original Culinary Arts Gallery, which features Zingerman’s tastings and demonstrations.
Family-Friendly Fun: Inclusive activities include the Mini Sensory Zone, the Kids Collectors Club, and live 3D chalk art by David Zinn.
Community Spirit: Opportunities to support local small businesses through street-side storefronts and the Marketplace’s annual Bargain Days.
Whether you’re an avid art collector or looking for a weekend of community fun, the Ann Arbor Art Fair offers a unique celebration of creativity for all ages.
The Great Ginza Pokemon Hunt
The Great Ginza Pokémon Hunt
Throughout Art Fair weekend, visitors can participate in the Great Ginza Pokémon Hunt, an interactive experience designed to encourage exploration of Main Street.
Hidden Pokémon characters will be placed inside the storefront of six participating Main Street businesses. Visitors who locate all six characters, and share photos or videos on social media using #GinzaPokemonHunt will receive an entry into Ginza’s Birthday Blind Box Giveaway (with merchandise valued $500+!) as well as entry into the hidden character raffle. The participating businesses will be released in store and on the store’s Instagram handle (@ginza_tcg) on Thursday at 11am. Winners will be drawn randomly and notified via social media DM after the event on Saturday at 5pm.

The Ann Arbor Club, a historic downtown social club for professionals, is opening its doors for a casual, no-pressure lunch who want to meet like-minded people, swap ideas, and see firsthand what makes our community worth joining. RSVP required @ join.theannarborclub.com ; space is limited.
Outdoor Gallery and Sculpture Garden: Stephenson Ceramics
Explore the 2026 Outdoor Gallery & Sculpture Garden and be among the first to experience Visionaries, a special exhibit celebrating the history, artistry, and lasting impact of Susanne and John Stephenson. Tour the studio, peek inside the archives, and discover a lifetime of ceramic innovation from this dynamic duo. Open June 6 – Oct. 31, Thursday – Saturday, 12 – 4 PM. Snake Week: Live Encounters and Exploration
We love snakes, and lucky for us, the people who REALLY love snakes are our friends. Herptologists, post-doctoral fellow Dr. Michael Hogan, doctoral student and researcher Natasha Stepanova & Dr. Hayley Crowell will bring their own snakes, 3-D printed models, stories and deep learning experiences to share with the public. MBGNA Family friendly activities and scavenger hunts will be available throughout the evening too! Bring your questions and your curiosity!
Clothes Mending and Denim Repair/Patching Workshop
Have a piece of clothing with a small tear or hole that still has a lot of life left? Want to learn how to patch and repair denim and other items? Bring it to the All Hands Active Repair workshop at the A²ZERO Clothing Swap on Thursday, July 16th at City Hall anytime between 4 pm – 7 pm and learn to repair it for free! Roaming Happy Hour at Captain Joe’s Grill
Join the Ann Arbor Ski & Social Club the patio for happy hour drinks and specials. There is live music at 6pm. Non-Ski Club members are welcome!
Pitch-a-Friend @ Wolverine Pickleball
Pitch-A-Friend is a free, in-person event where friends give a 3-5 minute presentation about their amazing single friends to a live audience in a unique mashup of trivia night energy and matchmaking vibes. After the presentations, stick around for our mingle hour! Also designed for making friends. 21+.
