At the end of April, the Michigan Union closed for a large-scale reconstruction, leaving campus short five restaurants and two stores. Au Bon Pain, Luna’s Mexican Street Food, Panda Express, Starbucks, Subway, Barnes and Noble, and snack store U-Go are all gone, presumably until the expected reopening date in winter 2020. Students and U-M employees missing their favorite campus spot can catch all but Luna’s and Au Bon Pain at other locations around town.
