“Winter in Waterloo”: Waterloo Natural History Association
Naturalist Robert Ayotte leads a 2.5-mile hike over hilly terrain while pointing out winter weeds, snow crystals, tracks in the snow, and other wintry phenomena. Program is entirely outdoors (the building is currently closed, but there is a pit toilet); dress prepared for icy trails. 2–3:30 p.m., Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Rd., Chelsea. $2 (families, $5); preregistration required at (734) 475–3170 or waterlooha@gmail.com (space limited to 15) with name, phone number and number of people attending. $14 Michigan recreation passport ($19 at the gate) required. Park and meet in the lower parking lot.
