Kenneth Kiesler conducts this music student ensemble in a program highlighted by the premiere of contemporary American composer Adolphus Hailstork’s Saxophone Concerto featuring U-M saxophone professor Timothy McAllister. Also, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Arabian Nights–inspired symphonic suite Scheherazade and contemporary American composer John Corigliano’s Promenade Overture.
