“Tetsuo the Iron Man” (Shinya Tsukamoto, 1989). Japanese cyberpunk horror about a business man whose body progressively transforms into a hybrid of flesh and machine after he accidentally kills a “Metal Fetishist.” Japanese, subtitles. 10 a.m.
“Bacurau” (Juliano Dornelles & Kleber Mendonça Filho, 2019). Brazilian near-future dystopian thriller about a woman who returns to her ancestral village that is beset by sinister events following the death of its matriarch. Portuguese, subtitles. 11:25 a.m.
“Possession” (Andrzej Żuławski, 1981). German psychological horror about a spy and his wife, who begins exhibiting increasingly disturbing behavior after asking him for a divorce. Sam Neil. 1:45 p.m.
