“Threads of Joy”: Ann Arbor Civic Chorus
Karen TenBrink directs this popular 40-year-old community large choir in an eclectic mix of classical, folk, jazz, and musical theater pieces. Tonight’s program includes music by Stacey Gibbs, Aaron Copland, R. Nathaniel Dett, Fanny Mendelssohn, Moses Hogan, and Dale Trumbore, as well as Broadway tunes like “Seasons of Love” from Rent and “Rhythm of Life” from Sweet Charity.
