“The Wizard of Oz”: Skyline High School

Nov. 1517. Brodie H. Brockie directs Skyline students in the 1987 Royal Shakespeare Company musical about an orphaned teenager from Kansas who finds herself on a wild hero’s journey in the strange land of Oz. Based on the 1900 L. Frank Baum novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, it features Harold Arlen and Yip Harburg’s songs from the 1939 film, with a book by John Kane. 7 p.m. (Fri. & Sat.) & 2:30 p.m. (Sat. & Sun.), Skyline High School Auditorium, 2552 N.
