“The Music of Anita O’Day”: Kerrytown Concert House
Rising young Detroit-area jazz singer & composer Olivia Van Goor leads her ensemble in a concert dedicated to one of her greatest inspirations: Anita O’Day. The program includes songs and stories from iconic recordings like “Sweet Georgia Brown” to such hidden gems as “Hershey Bar.” With pianist Scott Gwinnell, bassist Reuben Stump, and drummer Dave Zwolinski. 7:30 p.m., 415 N.
