“The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical”: EMU Theatre Department

Oct. 3–5. Pam Cardell directs EMU theater students in Joe Tracz and Rob Rokicki’s 2014 musical adaptation of the first book in Rick Riordan’s wildly popular series of young adult novels. The story is about a 12-year-old contemporary American boy who discovers he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon, with adventures ensuing involving gods and monsters from Greek myth. Suggested for age 10 & up. 7 p.m. (Fri. & Sat.) and 2 p.m. (Sat. & Sun.), EMU Legacy Theatre, 1030 E. Circle Dr., Ypsilanti.
