The American-Romanian Festival Players: Kerrytown Concert House

An evening of colorful folk-influenced compositions by George Enescu and other Romanian composers. Also featured are works for cimbalom, a kind of Hungarian dulcimer, including a recent commission by composer Colin Martin for string quartet and cimbalom. Players include DSO violinists Marian Tănău, Kyoko Kashiwagi, and violist Eva Stern, cimbalomist Alexandru Șura, soprano Jennifer Goltz, and 2 U-M Residential College music professors—cellist Katri Ervamaa and pianist Naki Sung Kripfgans. 7:30 p.m., KCH, 415 N.
