“Pupusas”: Bløm Meadworks Makers Series
Pilar’s Tamales owner Sylvia leads a hands-on demonstration of how to make Salvadoran pupusas, stuffed and griddled cornmeal cakes, and Salvadoran curtido, a kind of slaw or salad. Both dishes are vegetarian and gluten-free. The ticket price includes ingredients, recipes, an opportunity to cook and eat together as a group, and some food to take home, along with a 12 oz. pour of Bløm’s seasonal meads and ciders (non-alcoholic options available). 5–7 p.m., Bløm Meadworks, 100 S.
