Symphony Band: U-M Music School
Jason Fettig directs this music student ensemble in a program of works by contemporary American composer James Stephenson, including a newly commissioned trumpet and wind ensemble arrangement of his Spinning Wheel featuring U-M trumpet professor Robert Sullivan. Also, a new piece by U-M composition alum Shuying Li and Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Morton Gould’s 1952 concert band classic West Point Symphony.
