“Furry Friends on the Patio!”: 8-Ball Movie Night

Sept. 24: “Furry Friends on the Patio!” Movies featuring animals and the people who talk to them: Dr. Dolittle (Richard Fleischer, 1967), a cult classic musical comedy starring Rex Harrison as the titular veterinarian with the ability to talk to his patients. The Beastmaster (Don Coscarelli, 1982), the first in a series of B-movies about a hero who can communicate with animals, facing off against an evil wizard and his army in the fantasy kingdom of Aruk. Rescheduled from last month.
