Bill Gourley directs this 85-member volunteer ensemble in a program of holiday music featuring Leroy Anderson’s popular “A Christmas Festival,” Steve Reisteter’s “The Eighth Candle Prayer and Dance for Hanukkah,” and a beautiful arrangement of Bach’s “Ave Maria.” A quartet of local vocalists—Kristin Hoffman-Peavler, Jeni McFarland, John McLaughlin, and Frank Dougherty—joins the band in renditions of Irving Berlin Christmas songs and traditional carols. 3 p.m., Dexter Center for the Performing Arts, Dexter High School, 2200 N.
