Double bill. Cowdery, a Columbus (OH) country folk-rock singer-songwriter, is known for her emotionally engaging lyrics and luminous voice. Calhoun, the founder of the folk label Waterbug Records, is a Chicago singer-songwriter who writes finely crafted, vividly imagined story-songs that he sings in a rich, resonant baritone.
