“Rent”: Huron Players
Feb. 22 & 23. Clarence Collins directs Huron High School students in Jonathan Larson’s 1996 rock musical, an adaptation of Puccini’s 1896 opera La Bohème. It tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists living in New York’s Lower East Side in the late 1980’s, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. 7 p.m. (Fri. & Sat.) & 2 p.m. (Sun.), Huron High School Meyers Auditorium, 2727 Fuller.
