“Midnight/Moonlight Madness”: Main Street Area & State Street District Associations
Many merchants are open late tonight with special sales, and many restaurants offer dining specials. Santa makes an appearance (7-9 p.m., on Main). Also, Voices in Harmony and other musical groups TBA provide caroling (times TBA, on Washington, Liberty, and Main), a hymn sing (6 & 7 p.m.) at the First Congregational Church (608 E. William), and the Ann Arbor Police Department hosts a complimentary hot cocoa bar (5-10 p.m., on Main). Also, Santa’s Mailbox is accepting letters (postage to North Pole courtesy of the MSAA) Nov. 25–Dec. 15, in front of Conor O’Neill’s (318 S. Main); include a return address to receive a response from Santa. 5–11 p.m. (many stores stay open till midnight), Main St. and State St. shopping areas. Free admission. (734) 668–7112.
