Lower Michigan Flute Ensemble: Ann Arbor Society for Musical Arts
Deborah Rebeck Ash directs this ensemble of Michigan alto, bass, and contrabass flutists in a program TBA. The group regularly commissions new works from composers like Ash, Gay Kahkonen, and James Marshall. Followed by a meet-the-artists lunch. 10:30 a.m., Ann Arbor City Club, 1830 Washtenaw Ave. $35 lunch & concert; $18 concert only (students with ID, $5) in advance at annarborsma.org and at the door.
