“Lantern-Lit Solstice Walk”: Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission
Half-hour self-guided nature walk through woods along a paved path (unplowed in case of snow) lit with luminaries and lanterns. A bonfire with hot cocoa and s’mores follows. Dog walkers welcome. Dress for the weather. 6–8:30 p.m. (arrival by 7:30 p.m. required), Independence Lake County Park Beach Center Pavilion, 3200 Jennings, Whitmore Lake. $15 per household (up to 4 people).
