Jesse Blumberg & Martin Katz: Kerrytown Concert House
Baritone Blumberg, a U-M alum, is accompanied by U-M piano professor Katz in Schubert’s celebrated song cycle Winterreise (Winter Journey), a setting of Wilhelm Müller’s somber poems about a lovesick young man on a harrowing winter journey. “You have to be haunted by this cycle to be able to sing it,” says German singer Elena Gerhardt. 7:30 p.m., KCH, 415 N.
