Aug. 8 & 10: “Flash Gordon” (Mike Hodges, 1980). Live-action superhero space opera with a cult following. It’s based on the classic sci fi comic book originally written to compete with Buck Rogers in the 1930s. 9:30 p.m. (Fri.) & 7 p.m. (Sun.).
