“Double Vision”: U-M Symphony Band Chamber Winds
A variety of music student wind ensembles drawn from the U-M Symphony Band perform the world premiere of Jude Vaclavik’s colorful new work Bifrost, contemporary Japanese composer Yosuke Fukuda’s Dream Forest, Michigan composer Michael Goodman’s Double Quintet, 20th-century English composer Ruth Gipps’s Seascape, and chamber wind arrangements of the Overtures from Rossini’s Barber of Seville and Joseph Bologne’s L’amant anonyme. 8 p.m., U-M Moore Bldg.
